Carlos Bica (Lisbon, 11th July 1958) is a Portuguese double bass player who has lived in Berlin (Germany) since 1994. Of all the Portuguese jazz musicians, he is possibly the one who has achieved the greatest projection in Europe. His activity extends to various countries in Asia and Europe, including Portugal, where he performs and record regularly, and also includes collaborations with various musicians on the international scene.
