Miguel Falcão

Miguel Falcão was a member of various musical projects in the so-called modern Portuguese music scene, including 'M'as Foice and Caffeine.
He studied double bass at the Coimbra Conservatory of Music and attended jazz and improvisation workshops led by musicians such as Bernardo Moreira, Didi and William Parker.
He has been involved with improvised music from an early age, playing in projects such as PREC (Projecto Ressonante Experimental Criativo) and Basso3, among others.
Since 2014 he has been studying gadulka, a traditional Bulgarian instrument, with Angel Dobrev. In 2015 he performed at the Bulgarian Folk Music Festival in Koprivshtica.

He has played with musicians such as Paul Gilbert, Carlos "Zingaro", Marcelo dos Reis, João Pedro Viegas, Álvaro Rosso, Nuno Rebelo and many others.
