Yedo Gibson

Tenor Saxophone; Soprano Saxophone

Brazilian saxophonist Yedo Gibson is certainly one of the most intriguing improvisers of the younger generation. He has been living in Europe for years, but the recent relocation to Sintra has forced the musician to a less intense pace than the one he got used to in his time in London and Amsterdam. In both cities he was a particularly active musician - translating into records with Hêrnani Faustino, Gonçalo Almeida, Vasco Furtado, Ernesto Rodrigues, Martin Blume and Vasco Trilla himself. With some albums out, he has already strongly marked his presence on the stage of free jazz.
